Woman ends life with kid

BELTHANGADY : In a tragic incident reported from Dharmasthala, a woman committed suicide by consuming poison after administering the same to her two sons.
While the mother and one of her sons died another boy of seven years has survived.
The exact cause of the suicide is not known though neighbours say the woman and her husband had some difference over some issue.
The deceased is Vijaya (32), wife of one Anand Gowda of Dharmasthala and her son Abhijith (4).Another son Abhishekh is recovering in the hospital.
The deceased woman was quite well known in the locality and had also served as honorary teacher in a Dharmasthala school for some time, while her husband Anand is an electrician. Reprots indicate that the woman had given two miss calls to her husband’s mobile before taking the extreme step.
Belthangady police are conducting the investigations.
