I’m ready for any probe: UT Khader

By CT reporter
MANGALORE : Ullal Youth Congress President UT Khader who has reacted sharply to the recent charges against him by home minister MP Prakash who said that the hands of the Ullal MLA’s son was suspected behind the Ullal violence, has dubbed the charges as politically motivated.
He has even alleged that this was nothing but a conspiracy of the district minister and home minister to tarnish his image unable to digest his popularity and political progress.
He also recalled that the DGP Sial during his visit to the city, when questioned about the allegations had said he was unaware of the same.
Khader has further urged the home minister to make public the source of his information which had not even reached the higher police officials.
He even demanded the Mangalore MP DV Sadananda Gowda who too had accused him of being behind the violence, to demand a judicial probe into the same.
In the meantime, eyewitnesses revealed that when Khader introduced himself as the son of the Ullal MLA to home minister MP Prakash during his recent visit to the city, the latter immediately asked "Is it, how is your father ?" and nothing else .
It has also been gathered that no sooner Khader left the venue some youth Muslim leaders of the JD(S) who had accompanied Prakash told him that the charges against Khader had hurt them as Khader was one among the few who had strived for peace in Ullal.
One or two even reportedly went ahead to say that they don’t need a party which views people of one particular community with suspicion.
