Hindu youth’s namaz in Sullia!
From CT correspondent
SULLIA : A queer incident that took place at Sullia recently, has been the talk of the town.
Recently, a Hindu youth from Mysore, who had been to the Gandhinagar Jumma Masjid to offer Namaz was trapped by locals and handed over to the police.
The other Muslims offering namaz in the mosque grew suspcious as the youth did not know the proper practice of offering namaz.
On interrogation, he is said to have told the police that he is a person who had belief in all faiths and that he practiced Hinduism, Christianity and Islam in daily life and offered prayers at temples, churches and mosques.
The police let him free on coming to know that he was innocent.
The youth hailing from Mysore, was studying in theSullia engineering college and had been to the mosque along with his friends when he was trapped. When others were offering namaz, even his mobile phone rang and his way of speaking made those around suspect him.
According to one source, this particular youth was in love with a Muslim lady. Probably, he was resorting to all these tactics just to please his lady love.
