Adoption of Ullal: Will Dy CM stick to his words?

MANGALORE: Deputy chief minister BS Yadiyurappa while campaigning prior to the Ullal elections had assured to adopt Ullal for its overall development. Following this, Congress leaders had even complained to the election officer saying this was in violation of the poll code of conduct.
Now that the election is over and results are out, it is left to be seen if the deputy chief minister would make any efforts towards adoption of Ullal.
The deputy CM however had not said that the BJP would adopt Ullal if the party was elected. Now as a deputy chief minister such a task is not at all difficult for him.
In case he fails to keep up his words, one has to conclude that he had said so merely from the point of view of elections, without any concern for the welfare of the people of the constituency.
