Udupi city bus crew threaten stir

UDUPI : The Udupi city bus employees’ association has threatened to resort to severe means of agitation if steps were not taken towards the development of the city bus stand within November 30.
The main demands of the association are repair of all roads of the city, development of the bus stand, provision of basic amenities like lavatory, drinking water facility and prohibiting opening of petty shops or operating of mobile shops inside the bus stand precincts. The association has also urged the TMC against raising any new building in the bus stand area.
