JD(S) leader attacked for defending Shetty

MANGALORE : A JD(S) leader belonging to the Muslim community was recently attacked by a few people belonging to his community for the sole reason that the latter spoke defending the district minister at Ullal,while the general feeling among the minority community was that the minister himself was to be blamed for the riots.
Later the matter was settled through talks in the presence of senior leaders of the community after the JD(S) leader apologised for his statement.
