Violence probe: Addl Chief Secy coming on Nov 6

MANGALORE : State Government’s Additional Chief Secretary AK Agarwal will be arriving in the city on November 6 to investigate into the cases of loss of property, deaths, atrocities etc during the recent violence that broke out in various parts of Mangalore and Bantwal taluks.
Complaints can be forwarded to the officer at the DC office hall from 3 pm to 5 pm on November 6 and from 11 am to 1 pm on November 7.
Members of the general public can furnish information to the officer on the cause of the riots, those involved, about the functioning of the police department during the riots and the action taken by the district administration. The statements must be in written form along with an affidavit.
